Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Veda platform ("Service"), operated by FutureSense Technologies ("Company," "we," "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Veda is a Vedic astrology software-as-a-service platform that generates horoscope reports based on user-provided birth data. Reports include Rashi (D1) and Navamsha (D9) charts, Vimshottari Dasha periods, and planetary position analysis. The Service uses the Swiss engine for astronomical calculations and the Lahiri Ayanamsa for sidereal corrections.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You may register using email/password or Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and promptly update it if it changes.

4. Payment Terms

• Veda operates on a pay-per-report credit model. You purchase credit packs to generate horoscope reports.
• All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card information on our servers.
• Credits are non-transferable between accounts.
• Purchased credits do not expire.
• Unused credits may be refunded within 30 days of purchase. Once a credit has been consumed to generate a report, it is non-refundable.
• Prices are listed in USD and are subject to change with prior notice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or access the source code of the Service.
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service.
• Resell or redistribute generated reports without authorization.
• Interfere with the security or proper functioning of the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, software, designs, and trademarks associated with Veda are the property of FutureSense Technologies. Generated horoscope reports are licensed to you for personal use. You may share reports with others but may not sell or commercially distribute them without written consent.

7. Disclaimer of Astrological Advice

The Service is provided for informational, educational, and spiritual exploration purposes only. Vedic astrology reports generated by Veda do not constitute professional advice of any kind — including but not limited to medical, financial, legal, or psychological advice. You should not make important life decisions based solely on astrological reports. We make no claims regarding the predictive accuracy of astrological interpretations.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FutureSense Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for credits in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or security reasons. We will provide advance notice when reasonably possible.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, unused credits will be refunded if within the 30-day refund window.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
