Birth Data

To generate horoscope reports, we collect:

• Full name
• Gender
• Date of birth
• Time of birth
• Place of birth (city, country, latitude, longitude)
• Timezone

This data is necessary to perform accurate astronomical calculations for your Vedic horoscope. It is stored in your user profile in Firestore and is only accessible by you.

Payment Information

Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full credit card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment details. We receive only a payment confirmation, transaction ID, and the credit amount purchased.

Usage Data

• Pages visited and features used
• Report generation timestamps
• Device type, browser, and operating system
• IP address (for analytics and security)

3. How We Use Your Information

• Service delivery: To generate and store your Vedic horoscope reports.
• Account management: To authenticate your identity and manage your credits.
• Communication: To send transactional emails (purchase confirmations, account updates).
• Improvement: To analyze usage patterns and improve the Service.
• Security: To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure through Firebase (Firestore database). Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• Firebase Authentication with secure token management
• Firestore security rules restricting data access to account owners
• HTTPS-only connections for all API communications
• Regular security audits of our Cloud Functions

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google): Authentication, database, hosting, and cloud functions. See Firebase Privacy Policy.

• Google Analytics: Usage analytics and performance monitoring. See Google Privacy Policy.
• OpenStreetMap (Nominatim): Geocoding for place-of-birth lookup. No personal data is sent — only city/country search queries.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication session management. Google Analytics may set additional cookies for usage tracking. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect Service functionality.

7. Data Retention

• Account data: Retained as long as your account is active.
• Horoscope reports: Full chart data (planetary positions, charts, Dasha periods) is retained for 90 days from generation. After 90 days, chart data is archived and only birth details (name, date, place) are preserved. You can regenerate a full report at any time using one credit. All data is deleted upon account deletion.
• Payment records: Retained for 7 years for legal and accounting compliance.
• Usage logs: Retained for 90 days, then anonymized or deleted.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
• Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.
• Objection: Object to processing of your data for certain purposes.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will promptly delete it.

Your data may be processed in countries outside your country of residence, including Canada and the United States (where Google Cloud and Stripe infrastructure is located). We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international transfers.
